Senior Advisor

Steve Meyer is the Senior Advisor for JVM. He provides strategic guidance and support to the Chief Investment Officer and the investment team on JVM’s capital needs and structure, property strategies, and investor relations. He leverages his extensive experience and network in the real estate and finance sectors to help JVM achieve its growth and performance goals.

Steve joined JVM as CFO in 2005 and then assumed the role as CIO in 2015. He is instrumental in managing the equity and debt capital structures of JVM investments and leading property strategies to maximize investor returns. He developed strong relationships with key lenders, ultra-high net worth and institutional investors and Registered Investment Advisors. Prior to joining JVM, Steve enjoyed a financial career at Baxter International serving as Corporate Treasurer for 7 years. He was responsible for the company’s capital structure, foreign exchange and interest rate risk management and defined benefit plan investments. Steve has a degree in economics and an MBA in Accounting and Finance from Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Business and is also a CPA.
